Infants, first and second class had a Teddy Bears Picnic as part of Wellbeing Week last Friday. They played on yard with their teddies too. The infants made rice krispie buns for everybody. It was a lovely treat!
Last week, we held a Wellbeing Week. Each class completed various wellbeing activities each day, also completing Wellbeing homework each evening. Here are First and Second class doing some of the activities.
First and second class have been revising procedural writing recently. Second class wrote a procedure on how to make Rice Krispie buns. We decided to test out the recipe! They were yummy!
Ashley from Agri Aware joined us last week for a Farm Safety Futures workshop. She spoke to every class about Farm Safety and the children completed fun activities on farm safety also. Each of the children got a certificate and a rubber as a reward for their participation. It was very enjoyable.
Well done to all the boys and girls that made their First Holy Communion on Saturday morning. They all looked wonderful and did brilliantly with all their jobs on the day.

First and second class took advantage of the recent good weather and had some fun in our field. We had races and played with the footballs. We are so lucky to have this green space!
First and second class are learning about Italy. We learned that the famous Italian artist Michelangelo spent four years painting the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel and he had to do it lying down! We decided to try some art while lying down to see what it was like. We prefer sitting at our tables!
